Mr. Lyman joined Medalist Capital in 2026 as an Associate Producer in the Charleston office after five years with Draper and Kramer’s Commercial Finance Group. He has experience across commercial real estate capital markets, development, and acquisitions, with involvement in the underwriting, structuring, and execution of more than $2 billion of debt and equity transactions. His work spans multifamily, student housing, retail, hospitality, industrial, office, and self-storage assets, including permanent financing, bridge lending, structured finance, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of work, Liam enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
