Mr. Brooks has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. He began his career with Dickinson, Logan, Todd and Barber, where he worked from 1988 until 2005. Before that, Mr. Brooks completed the Corporate Training Program at First Union National Bank in Charlotte and completed one year in the Greensboro City Office.

Mr. Brooks was a former member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Investment Committee of the Burroughs and Chapin Company in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is actively involved with Christ Church Raleigh and a member of the Investment Committee, and a member of the ICSC. He is married and has three children.
