Mr. Mauzy has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Medalist Capital, he was an assistant vice president with Capital Advisors from 2000 to 2004. He also worked with Industrial Developments International in Atlanta and as a financial services consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Mauzy is active with several community and civic organizations, including Healing Transitions, F3, the Tammy Lynn Center, and Special Olympics of North Carolina. Mr. Mauzy and his family are members of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, and he is a former member of the Ravenscroft School and Wake Forest University alumni councils. He is a North Carolina licensed real estate broker, and his professional affiliations include the Mortgage Bankers Association, NAIOP and ICSC.
