Mr. Morgan has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Medalist Capital in 2020, Mr. Morgan spent the last six years as a commercial real estate sector manager focusing on debt and equity investments for Candlewood/Medalist Partners, a $2.6 billion hedge fund manager based out of New York. Prior to that, Mr. Morgan spent the previous 12 years at JP Morgan in the securitized products group on the commercial mortgage-backed securities trading desk. Mr. Morgan was an Executive Director and Head of Secondary CMBS Trading for JP Morgan, where he managed a team of traders and analysts focused on commercial real estate. He is married and has three daughters.
