Medalist Capital is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Williams. He will be based in the Charlotte office and will be responsible for raising equity and mezzanine debt for clients and prospects on behalf of the firm.

Mr. Williams has more than 14 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Medalist Capital, Mr. Williams served for nine years as the founding principal at The Sage Capital Group, LLC, providing real estate financial advisory services, including debt and equity placement, throughout the Southeast. Mr. Williams also served in a regional capital management role for a Fortune 250 residential builder. Prior to attending business school, Mr. Williams was a practicing attorney for nearly 10 years and served as General Counsel to two middle market service provider companies.
Mr. Williams is a member of the North Carolina Bar, ICSC and ULI. He is a member of Myers Park United Methodist Church and is also active coaching multiple YMCA youth sports. Mr. Williams is married and has three children. His hobbies include sport fishing, reading, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Mr. Williams earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance, a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
